Terms of service
These terms summarize how we work when you hire me as photographer or filmmaker for your event. They apply by default; if we need something different for your case, we agree in writing.
1. What the service includes
Photo and/or video coverage of the event agreed in the quote (weddings, sweet 15s, baby showers, kids' birthdays, graduations, sessions), color and light editing of the deliverable, and digital delivery through a private gallery with access code.
What is NOT included by default: printed album, additional session outside the event, advanced creative retouching (composition, large object removal, heavy artistic editing). Any of those extras are quoted separately.
2. Date booking
The date is booked when you accept the quote online AND confirm the deposit through the agreed payment method. Until the deposit is effectively confirmed, the date remains available for another client.
Once the deposit is confirmed, the date is locked for your event.
3. Payments
I charge in Guaraníes (Gs). The typical structure is deposit on booking + balance per the schedule agreed in the quote. For big events we can set up an installment plan.
Accepted methods: bank transfer, deposit, cash and Tigo Money. If you pay from abroad, we agree on the exchange rate when confirming.
4. Cancellation and rescheduling
Cancellation before paying the deposit: no cost, no charge.
Cancellation after paying the deposit: the deposit is not refunded, as it covers the date hold and time invested in preparation. If cancelled with good advance notice, it can apply to an alternative date.
Rescheduling: you can move the date at no cost if there's availability and you give at least 30 days notice. Less notice — depends on the case.
Force majeure cancellation (serious illness, family bereavement, official health restrictions): reschedule at no cost to a mutually agreed date.
5. Event day
I arrive with the notice agreed in the quote. I ask that you have clarity on times and key moments (ceremony, first dance, toast, etc.) — the more aligned we are on the plan, the better it comes out.
If due to force majeure (accident, sudden illness) I can't be present, I notify you ASAP and replace or reschedule. This eventuality has never happened but is made explicit.
6. Delivery and selection
After the event I begin editing and notify you on WhatsApp when the proofing gallery is ready. Your access is via private code.
You choose the final photos you want to keep according to the contracted package. If you want more photos than included, there's an extra cost per photo listed in your quote.
Exact delivery times depend on the package and I confirm them in the quote. Reference: small sessions 1-2 weeks; full weddings 4-8 weeks.
7. Photo usage rights
You receive the photos in high resolution for personal and family use (printing, sharing with friends and family, personal social media). No restrictions for that use.
I, as the author, retain copyright and the possibility of using the photos in my portfolio (Instagram, website, fairs), unless you explicitly ask me NOT to. If you request full discretion, I respect it and we put it in writing before the event.
Photos are NOT released to third parties (magazines, agencies) without your prior written authorization.
8. Backup and safekeeping
After delivering the final photos, I keep a backup copy in my personal Drive for at least 1 year, for cases where you need to recover lost files.
After that time, files may be deleted to free up space. If you need a backup beyond that period, we coordinate before delivery.
9. Limitation of liability
I do everything possible to cover your event with the best technical and emotional quality. If due to major technical failures (equipment breakdown during the event with no backup possibility) coverage does not reach the promised standard, I refund proportionally what was charged or reschedule another compensatory session.
I'm not responsible for images of moments that were not explicitly requested or that happened simultaneously outside my coverage.
10. Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Paraguay. Any dispute that cannot be resolved directly between us falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Saltos del Guairá.
11. Your account
You can create an account to reach your events, quotes and photos, with Google or with a username and a password. An account belongs to one person: do not share it or lend your password. Whatever is done with your account is taken as done by you; if you think someone else used it, tell me and I will close it.
An account only sees what is its own. Trying to reach events, quotes or photos of another person is logged and is grounds for closing the account.
